Ready for a role where your ambition can make a real difference? We’re working with a newly established and exciting commercial insurance brokerage in Milton Keynes, led by an MD with 25+ years’ experience in the insurance industry. The business has ambitious plans for growth — and this is an opportunity to play a key part in that journey, rather than simply joining another established corporate environment.

With the experience, knowledge and market relationships already in place, the business is now looking for an ambitious Commercial Insurance Account Executive to help shape the next stage of its growth. This isn’t just a role where you inherit a book and manage renewals. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships, develop your own pipeline, win new business and grow existing accounts — with the support of an experienced internal broking team behind you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of commercial clients
  • Building trusted, long-term client relationships
  • Identifying and winning new business
  • Developing your own pipeline through networking, referrals and introducers
  • Attending client meetings, networking events and industry functions
  • Providing professional advice across a range of commercial insurance products
  • Working closely with the internal broking team to secure the right solutions for clients
  • Managing your accounts with a strong focus on service, retention and growth
  • Ensuring everything is delivered in line with FCA and internal compliance requirements

Who are we looking for?

You don’t need to tick every box, but we’re looking for someone with commercial insurance or financial services experience who is ready to take the next step. You’ll ideally be:

  • Confident and comfortable dealing with clients
  • Commercially minded and motivated by winning business
  • Ambitious and hungry to progress
  • Strong at building relationships
  • Organised and able to manage your own workload
  • Comfortable networking and developing new opportunities
  • Someone who enjoys working in a growing, entrepreneurial environment

Acturis experience would be a bonus, as would progress towards CII qualifications — but neither is essential.

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive salary + expenses
  • Genuine opportunity to develop your career
  • Future profit-share bonus structure
  • Company laptop & phone
  • 21 days holiday + Bank Holidays, increasing with service
  • Company pension
  • Direct access to experienced insurance leadership
  • The opportunity to play a genuine role in building and growing the business

The brokerage works across a broad range of sectors including Property, Construction, Motor Trade, Manufacturing, Wholesale & Logistics, IT & Technology and Professional Services. The philosophy is simple: understand the client, understand their risks and deliver the right insurance solution — backed by responsive, personal service.

If you’re an ambitious Commercial Insurance professional who wants more responsibility, more opportunity and the chance to help build something from the ground up, this could be the move you’ve been looking for.
