We are on the lookout for a Purchasing Assistant to join our friendly and forward-thinking team! This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in our supply chain process, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to keep everything on track and up to date.
What you'll be doing:
- Processing and placing purchase orders with care and accuracy
- Keeping an eye on delivery and shipping updates to make sure everything arrives on time
- Checking that all shipping documents are correct and complete before anything goes out
- Updating order statuses on both our internal system and supplier platforms
- Keeping detailed records of purchases, pricing, dates, and other key information
- Supporting the wider purchasing team with general admin tasks
- Communicating regularly with suppliers to maintain great working relationships
