Role Description We are looking for a Design Engineer reporting to the Project Manager to assist in the smooth running of a Defence Contract. The successful candidate will need to work with the Project Manager and the Design Manager (System Design Authority), coordinating with customers, suppliers, external bodies as well as the senior management team. Skills, knowledge and experience Degree level qualification within a STEM field or equivalent practical experience Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and practices and the correct recognition of the context of their work within the overall product an academic basis underpinning the discipline Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle with experience of operating in the phase relevant to the role and awareness of the entire engineering lifecycle Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and practices Experience using Inventor/AutoCAD software.
