The Role You'll live in the client's home on Friday 11am and come out on Monday 11am on rota, providing personalised support that enables them to enjoy the highest possible quality of life in familiar surroundings. - Building a positive relationship
- Providing conversation, encouragement and emotional support
- Sharing enjoyable activities and interests
Daily Living Support
- Preparing healthy, nutritious meals
- Supporting with shopping and household tasks
- Light housekeeping and laundry
Personal Care
- Assisting with washing, dressing and grooming
- Medication prompting and reminders
- Moving and handling support where required
Community Support
- Accompanying the client to appointments and outings
- Supporting hobbies, interests and exercise routines
- Driving when required
We're looking for someone who is:
- Kind, compassionate and genuinely caring
- Experienced in supporting people living with dementia
- Reliable, committed and professional
- An excellent communicator
- Respectful of clients, their homes and their independence
- Passionate about delivering person‑centred care
Previous care experience is essential for this role. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be advantageous.
