Are you an experienced Housekeeper looking for part-time work in Dartmouth?

The Seven Stars is looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team at our busy guest house in Dartmouth, Devon.

This is a part-time position starting from 10 hours per week, with additional hours available for the right candidate.

Weekend availability is essential, with Saturdays and Sundays forming the main part of the working pattern.

About The Role

As Housekeeper, you'll be responsible for maintaining our guest bedrooms and public areas to a consistently high standard, helping ensure every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay.

Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is essential. Experience working in a hotel, guest house, pub or other hospitality environment would be an advantage.

You’ll need to have a good eye for detail, take pride in your work and be able to work efficiently as part of a small team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning 6 ensuite guest bedrooms to a high standard.
• Changing bed linen and making beds.
• Cleaning bathrooms and guest facilities.
• Keeping communal areas clean, tidy and welcoming.
• Cleaning guest toilets.
• Cleaning the bar and restaurant areas when required.
• Replenishing guest room supplies.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or damage.
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience.
• Has excellent attention to detail.
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Is reliable, organised and hardworking.
• Can work efficiently and independently.
• Has a friendly and positive attitude.
• Is comfortable working weekends.
• Has experience in hospitality, hotels, guest houses or similar environments
