Are you looking for a new opportunity as a Chef in beautiful Devon? We are looking to recruit Chef\’s at all levels with a passion for food to join our team at The Floating Bridge, Coombe Road, Dartmouth, Devon, TQ6 9PQ. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chefs to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidates will have experience of cooking traditional British dishes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create and execute menus that fit with the traditional feel of The Floating Bridge. When you join our kitchen team, you will be responsible for working in all aspects of the kitchen and maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, quality and presentation.

What are we looking for from our Chef\’s
- Head Chef | Chef De Partie | Sous Chef would be considered.
- Develop and implement menus that align with The Floating Bridge\’s traditional feel.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
- Manage stock and place orders with suppliers.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Monitor food costs and work within agreed GP\’s.
- Collaborate with the manager and front-of-house staff to ensure great service to customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef in a traditional pub or managed house.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Creative and passionate about fresh locally sourced produce.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
