At Pasta Evangelists, we believe that Pasta makes everything better, and we are looking for a Food Safety Executive to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for advising, coaching and supporting our teams across all spheres of Safety. You will keep our staff and customers safe supporting new and existing cloud kitchens and restaurants.
What you'll do:
- Provide expert advice to our Takeaway team, supporting them in audits, investigations and resolving issues.
- Conduct regular internal audits and EHO liaison across our sites and provide coaching and training to support our sites.
- Train and support new members of our team on Health and Food Safety processes and completion of risk assessments.
- In conjunction with the Quality and Safety Director, design each quarter’s Safety Audit in response to data, season, trends or concerns and ensure all the sites are audited once a quarter.
- Submit reports after visits and coaching sessions.
- Support the Quality and Safety Director in managing and investigating any alleged Food Poisoning, accidents or foreign body allegations that are likely to have occurred at our sites and report back to line management with any recommendations to prevent re-occurrence.
- Help the Quality and Safety Director to manage all enforcement correspondence in a professional, timely and efficient manner.
- Support in meeting with relevant third party suppliers such as chemical, management check systems, pest control, etc.
Who you are:
- You have experience in food safety role(s).
- You have extensive food safety experience within QSR, such as auditing sites, coaching and supporting training, perhaps as an EHO or as part of an internal audit team.
- You have significant experience in food safety and health & safety, including all aspects of HACCP documentation.
- You have experience of dealing with EHO inspections.
- You are able to provide food safety & allergens training to large teams.
- You have experience in pest control and other hazards.
- You know hygiene best practices and materials.
- You don’t turn a blind eye to issues, but instead you jump on them and have a strong desire to solve them.
- You are hugely detailed oriented and don’t ever cut corners.
- You love working in a start-up team!
