Job Description
What you’ll do
As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care across our community services, leading by example in the field and supporting both service users and care colleagues.
You’ll combine hands-on care with supervision and quality assurance, spending most of your time in the community with some office-based duties.
You’ll:
â—Ź Support and review individual care packages, including needs and risk assessments
â—Ź Work with Care Coordinators to support effective rota planning
â—Ź Supervise, mentor, and support Care Assistants in the field
â—Ź Shadow new starters and carry out observations and competency checks
â—Ź Take part in multi-disciplinary reviews and complete accurate records
You’ll be a trusted senior presence, helping to maintain high standards of care and support team development.
