Performance Test Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer to drive performance assurance across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments. You will design and execute performance, load, stress, and volume tests, identify bottlenecks, and work closely with development and architecture teams to ensure scalable, resilient, and high-performing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance testing strategies and test plans.
- Perform load, stress, endurance, and volume testing.
- Analyze test results and provide performance improvement recommendations.
- Monitor applications using Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, and Dynatrace.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to resolve performance issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or Eggplant Performance .
- Experience testing cloud-based applications (Azure, AWS, or GCP) .
- Strong understanding of Performance Testing methodologies and NFRs .
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
- Strong scripting skills in Python or JavaScript .
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills
- Kafka, IBM MQ, ELK Stack, Tableau.
- GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Git.
- Experience embedding performance testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of security and compliance considerations in testing.
