Your Impact
Qualitrol’s Product Management team empowers utilities and industry partners with innovative solutions that provide clarity, confidence and autonomy. You will own the product lifecycle for enterprise solutions, translating customer needs into innovative features, integrations and scalability initiatives that deliver measurable reliability improvements.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise software vision, strategy and multi‑year roadmap aligned to business objectives.
- Translate market and customer insights into prioritized epics and features that enhance asset coverage, intelligence and scalability.
- Lead Agile delivery in partnership with Engineering and Product Owners; manage trade‑offs, risks and release readiness.
- Own enterprise integrations and data architecture decisions, including cloud services, security, REST APIs, OPC and data pipelines.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop pricing, packaging and go‑to‑market for enterprise offers; enable field teams with value narratives and collateral.
- Establish product KPIs (adoption, reliability, scalability, NPS) and run a regular operating rhythm for roadmap and release governance.
- Champion voice‑of‑customer: lead discovery, beta programs and executive updates with strategic utility accounts.
Skills & Experience
- BS degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years product management in enterprise software or asset performance management (APM); experience delivering utility solutions is preferred.
- Proven delivery of SaaS or on‑prem solutions at utility or industrial scale, including data integrations, cybersecurity and reliability requirements.
- Experience with fleet‑wide condition monitoring or grid health analytics.
- Fluency in Agile practices and tools (Jira, SAFE Agile); strong storytelling, stakeholder management and executive communication.
- Travel up to 40% for sales visits, customer discovery, deployments and events.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and asset health models for electric power assets – Transformers, Gas Insulated Switchgear, etc.
- Hands‑on with cloud services (Azure preferred), data lakes and API management.
- Background in deploying software across global utility fleets.
Working Conditions
On site at our office in Glasgow, UK. Travel up to 40% for sales visits, customer discovery, deployments and events.
