We are seeking a solution-focused Buyer with a continuous improvement mindset who values teamwork and a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensures that all goods, supplies, and inventory needed for the business to operate are ordered and kept in stock.
- Controls inventory levels, quality and costs associated with purchasing these items.
- Vendor management (on-time delivery, spend, quotes, quality, projects, and supply chain issues).
- Supply chain management (risk management, managing issues in the market, lead time, obsolescence, and order quantity management).
- New product implementation (purchasing tasks and supply chain management).
- Inventory and cost management (ensuring cost effectiveness, managing overstock and obsolete products, and creating projects to drive savings).
- Leading sustainability initiatives within the procurement process, including sourcing eco-friendly materials and evaluating suppliers’ environmental impact.
- Participates in negotiating logistics management and contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality specifications.
- Participates in the supplier selection process, including conducting due diligence, evaluating bids, and making recommendations on quality, price and capability.
Requirements
- Knowledge of working in a manufacturing environment.
- Electronics and metalwork sourcing knowledge.
- Manufacturing quality awareness.
- Low-cost region sourcing knowledge.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Vendor and contract management.
- Comprehensive understanding of MS Office packages.
- Knowledge of problem-solving and continuous improvements.
- CIPS qualification advantageous but not essential.
- Strong customer and solution focus.
- Effective planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with a wide range of people at varying levels across the organization.
- Impeccable attention to detail.

Benefits
- Full-time, set schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours (08:00–16:30 Mon–Thu, 08:00–13:30 Fri).
