The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, site acceptance tests and repair of a variety of PowerStation, Transmission, Substation & Transformer monitoring equipment. The ideal candidate would speak English and any other European language would be advantageous. Frequent travel within UK & EU without Visa requirements is expected.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning and Scheduling FS Engineering visits for installation, commissioning, site acceptance tests repair, training and support directly with OEM and Utility customers
- Liaise with customers to increase FS sales
- Identification and development of commercial opportunities
- Provide V.O.C. feedback, to Management, Sales associates, Factory Quality and commercial associates
- Provide support to all reports on training in FBS tools and techniques
- Local stock control
- Develop own capabilities and talent to ensure that development potential is realised
- Travel required up to 75%
KPIs:
- Billable hours: Ensure 72% billable hours and measured by monthly reports
- Sales: increase in FS sales in Region and measured by FS sales
- Improved knowledge across the Qualitrol Product Range
- Customer satisfaction surveys: increased customer satisfaction and measured by feedback.
Education and Experience:
- Essential Technical undergraduate degree, HND/HNC or equivalent experience
- Electromechanical aptitude
- BESC EUSR Person/Competent Person certified
- GWO offshore certification advantageous
- Experience within the Utilities & Electrical Engineering industry.
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Excellent communication skills
- Drivers Licence
- No criminal record | Police / UK Gov Security Clearance
