The Practice Operations Leader – Europe is accountable for the overall operational and commercial performance of the European delivery practice. The role ensures predictability, scalability, and execution excellence across multiple markets by embedding strong operating discipline, governance, and performance management.

Operating in a complex, multi‑country environment, the role works in close partnership with European Delivery, Sales, and Finance leadership to oversee forecasting, pipeline governance, strategic account performance, and delivery health. It acts as a critical integrator between local market execution and regional leadership decision‑making, ensuring that risks and opportunities are identified early and addressed consistently across the region.

  • European Practice Performance & Forecasting: Own end‑to‑end performance of the European practice across revenue, margin, utilisation, and delivery health. Lead the European forecasting cycle, consolidating country‑level inputs into a clear, risk‑aware regional outlook. Present performance insights, risks, and mitigation plans to the European Leadership Team and Executive stakeholders.
  • Executive & Investor Reporting: Act as the primary European point of contact for practice performance reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and external stakeholders (e.g., Board or private equity representatives). Ensure consistent definitions, governance, and transparency in reporting across all European markets.
  • Strategic Account Oversight: Maintain senior operational and commercial oversight of priority pan‑European and in‑country strategic accounts. Monitor revenue performance, pipeline, renewals, delivery risk, and long‑term sustainability. Partner with Account Leaders and Europe Managing Directors to address performance challenges and support growth opportunities.
  • Pipeline & Demand Governance: Own pipeline governance from a delivery readiness and execution perspective. Ensure effective alignment between sales demand, delivery capacity, and capability planning. Support prioritisation decisions to protect margin, quality, and client outcomes.
  • Delivery Excellence Enablement: Enable delivery leadership through clearly defined performance metrics, operating cadence, governance forums, and escalation paths. Drive consistency in delivery standards, processes, and performance management while allowing for appropriate local market variation. Support continuous improvement and increasing operational maturity across the European practice.
  • Operational Systems & Data Leadership: Own European governance, adoption, and optimisation of PSA (e.g., Kimble), working with local teams to ensure consistent and effective use. Ensure systems and data provide reliable insight to support forecasting accuracy, utilisation management, margin control, and decision‑making.
  • Leadership Contribution & Role Evolution: Actively contribute to European leadership strategy, transformation initiatives, and operating model evolution. Support integration across markets and assume additional responsibilities as the European practice scales and matures.

Skills & Competencies: Experience operating within a private equity‑backed or investor‑owned organisation. Exposure to scaling delivery operations and operating discipline in a growing or transforming practice. Experience contributing at leadership team. Familiarity with European employment models, utilisation tracking, and delivery governance frameworks.

Measures of Success: Forecast accuracy and improved performance predictability. Margin and utilisation improvement. Strong alignment between pipeline demand and delivery capacity. Stability and growth of strategic UK accounts. Effective adoption and practical use of Kimble to drive insight and outcomes.
