Overview
In this role you drive performance assurance across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. You design and execute load, stress, and volume tests and work with development and architecture teams to ensure scalable, resilient applications. You monitor performance with industry tools and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate across disciplines to identify bottlenecks and deliver actionable improvements. Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance testing strategies and test plans
- Conduct load, stress, endurance, and volume testing
- Analyze results and recommend performance improvements
- Monitor applications with Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, and Dynatrace
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD workflows
- Collaborate with developers and architects to resolve performance issues
Key requirements
- Proven experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or Eggplant Performance
- Experience testing cloud-based applications (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of Performance Testing methodologies and NFRs
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong scripting skills in Python or JavaScript
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
