About the role – Pastoral Support Manager

I am currently working with this mainstream secondary school who are looking to appoint a Pastoral Support Manager to start asap or September 2025.The school are looking for someone who can work with vulnerable students and support them when necessary. The successful candidate will be responsible for the wellbeing of students in Year 13, where they will be dealing with sensitive situations and managing behaviour accordingly. The right candidate will join the school on a full-time, long term basis starting as soon as possible.

This mixed Secondary Academy based in Enfield cater to a total of 1209 students aged 11 to 18 of the local area. With their most recent Ofsted inspection graded Good in January 2019, there were comments that \”Leaders are focused on achieving positive outcomes for students and have high aspirations for them. They have created a nurturing climate where students can excel.\” The headteacher is known for the numerous awards for the quality outcomes achieved and his aims of educating students, developing their full academic potential as well as nurturing their creativity, spirituality and character.
