The Role:
Qualiteach are recruiting a Pastoral Support Assistant to work within a PRU in Camden. As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will support students across KS3–KS4 who display challenging behaviour and have SEMH needs. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and external agencies to support emotional regulation, engagement and positive behaviour. This role is ideal for a resilient, patient and proactive individual with experience working in a PRU, SEN school or alternative provision.
The School:
This PRU is based in the London Borough of Camden and supports students aged 11–16 who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. The school has a strong focus on behaviour intervention, pastoral care and reintegration, with a supportive leadership team and well-established support systems. The site is easily accessible via public transport.
