Qualiteach Yorkshire are looking for an experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant for a school in Leeds. This may include working with children with moderate and complex learning and behaviour needs. The setting is a school who are looking for someone with a range of experience to join their team ASAP.

The Role

  • Can involve working with children on a 1:1 and group basis who have a variety of needs, tailoring learning to suit them
  • Working within a team and helping to build a comfortable environment for all children and staff, supporting challenging behaviour, SEN requirements and complex medical needs
  • Following care plans, EHCP's, Pupil Passports and other relevant documents where necessary
  • Using a holistic approach within a multi-disciplinary team of specialists
  • May include carrying out individual interventions to aid children's learning
