The Role – SEN Teacher
Seeking a skilled SEN Teacher to join a specialist setting supporting pupils with complex learning, communication and social needs. You will take responsibility for a small, well-staffed class of learners with ASD, SLD and related needs, delivering a tailored and meaningful curriculum that develops communication, independence and life skills. The role involves planning differentiated learning, embedding EHCP outcomes, working collaboratively with therapists and classroom support staff, and implementing structured visual systems, sensory approaches and assistive communication to promote regulation and reduce anxiety. You will also support behaviour planning, contribute to assessment and progress reviews, and take part in multi-disciplinary meetings, while maintaining a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment in which every pupil can make sustained progress.
