Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4 students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Plan and deliver lessons.
  • Support emotional wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain strong behaviour management strategies.

The successful candidate must be adaptable, empathetic, and confident working in a specialist environment.

This is a specialist all-through school for pupils aged 5–16 with SEMH as their primary area of need. The school offers a highly supportive and structured environment, with a strong emphasis on emotional development, tailored education, and consistent behaviour strategies.

The secondary phase currently supports around 50 students, with a dedicated team of over 60 staff across both primary and secondary settings including senior leaders, subject specialists, mentors, therapists, and support assistants.
