Qualiteach Yorkshire are looking for a qualified QTS Primary Teacher for a school in Leeds (LS9). This would include working with children who can struggle with SEMH and exhibit challenging behaviour but also love to build strong relationships with trusted adults who can make a difference for them. This would be classroom based until the end of the academic year and beyond. The school are keen to support newly qualified teachers' development who can adapt to their way of operating.
The Role:
- Plan, prepare and execute effective lessons, tailoring learning to suit a variety of learners, being supported by an encouraging mentor the whole way
- Working within a team and helping to build a comfortable environment for all children and staff, supporting challenging behaviour and SEN requirements, working closely with the pastoral care team
- Following care plans, EHCPs, Pupil Passports and other relevant documents where necessary
- Using a holistic approach within a multi-disciplinary team of specialists to ensure the best outcome for the pupils
