About the Role

A mixed, mainstream secondary school in Brent, rated Good by Ofsted, is seeking a motivated and skilled DT Teacher specialising in Product Design to join their Design & Technology department on a permanent basis from September 2026.

  • Start date: September 2026
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: London Borough of Brent
  • Pay scale: Outer London (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality Product Design lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 depending on experience. The department is collaborative and well established, benefiting from strong leadership, modern resources, and a clear commitment to high‑quality teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualified DT Teacher (Product Design) – QTS or QTLS. Suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers. Strong CPD, supportive line management, and a positive working environment encouraging professional development and innovation.
