The Position - Primary SEN Teacher

The ideal Primary SEN Teacher will have the ability to plan lessons that will accommodate all students' needs within the classroom as well as the skills to manage a minimum of two SEN TAs that will support you throughout the day. This SEN school requires the candidate to have UK Teaching experience and ECTs are welcome to apply. As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will be enthusiastic, with the ability to plan fun and creative lessons that will keep students engaged. You must be a fully qualified Teacher, holding UK QTS with strong primary curriculum knowledge.

Found in the inner London Borough of Southwark, this Special School requires a Primary SEN Teacher to join their team from Easter or sooner! Currently, the School has 136 students on role and caters for students between the ages of 3-11 years that have varied complex needs, including those with PMLD, SLD and ASD. In their most recent Ofsted in 2013, this Special School was reviewed overall as 'Good' with outstanding features in behaviour and safety of pupils and leadership and management. With their continued improvement, they are well on their way to outstanding!
