PMLD SEN Teacher required in Southwark for an outstanding SEN School.
The ideal PMLD SEN Teacher will hold QTS and have at least two years teaching experience in the UK, as well as experience teaching those with special needs or an EHCP. Ideally, you will have previous experience teaching secondary aged pupils with PMLD.
This role is based in a SEN secondary school; however, due to the ability levels of the students that you will be teaching, this role would be suitable for a primary teacher that is willing to teach older students.
As a PMLD SEN Teacher, you must have a very adaptive, patient and enthusiastic nature, as well as a creative approach to learning, as you will be required to tailor your lessons to your student’s individual needs.
The school is located in the inner London Borough of Southwark and is easily accessible from most areas in and around London. They cater for students from 11-19 years who have varied needs including those with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Moderate/Severe Learning Difficulties, and most pupils are also on the Autistic Spectrum.
