1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Hackney

£90 - £110 a day (depending on experience)

Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN required.

Experience working with pupils with autism, complex needs or profound learning difficulties desirable.

Must be confident with pupil engagement, communication and behaviour support.

Required full time ASAP.

The Role:

Seeking a compassionate and patient 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a pupil aged 3-19 with significant special educational needs. You will provide dedicated individualised support inside and outside the classroom, working closely with the SENCO and class teachers to help the pupil access their curriculum, manage behaviour, build communication skills and develop independence. The role involves implementing personalised strategies, promoting emotional regulation and helping to maintain a structured, safe and supportive learning environment.

The school caters for pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism, severe learning difficulties and associated disabilities.
