One-to-One Teaching Assistant required for a primary school in Southwark to support a pupil with SEMH and ASD.

Working closely with the pupil to support their learning, behaviour and emotional development.

Previous experience supporting children with SEMH and/or ASD is highly desirable.

This is a well-established and highly regarded primary school in Southwark, with approximately 400 pupils. The school has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted and is committed to providing a high-quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment.

You will be joining an experienced and dedicated team who work collaboratively to ensure every pupil receives the support they need to succeed.

The successful candidate will provide consistent one-to-one support throughout the school day, helping the pupil access learning, manage their emotions and develop positive relationships within the school environment.

This may include helping with emotional regulation, behaviour management, transitions, social interaction and engagement with classroom activities.

The school places a strong emphasis on pupil wellbeing, inclusion and helping children develop both academically and personally.
