A compassionate and proactive Complex Needs Teaching Assistant is sought to support pupils aged 4-19 within a specialist SEN setting. You will work alongside teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals to provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, physical disabilities and medical needs.

The role involves:

  • Supporting pupils to access learning
  • Assisting with communication using alternative communication methods
  • Promoting independence
  • Providing personal care where required
  • Helping pupils achieve the outcomes outlined in their EHCPs

This specialist provision is located in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and is within walking distance of a nearby National Rail station.
