Behaviour Support Assistant - Wandsworth - SEMH School - £95-£115 a day (depending on experience) - Full Time - Immediate Start

Previous experience supporting pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs required. Experience working in a SEMH school, PRU or alternative provision desirable. Must be confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies. Required full time ASAP.

The Role - Behaviour Support Assistant:

  • Seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Support Assistant to support pupils aged 11-16 within a specialist SEMH setting in Wandsworth.
  • You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and the wider support team to provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support.
  • The role involves implementing behaviour support strategies, using de-escalation techniques, promoting emotional regulation and helping pupils remain engaged with their learning.
  • You will act as a positive role model and help pupils develop the confidence and resilience needed to re-engage with education.
