Qualiteach Yorkshire are looking for an experienced Learning and Behaviour Mentor for a specialist school in Leeds (LS8) for children with complex learning behaviour and medical needs. The setting is an SEN school who work with a mix of ages and are looking for someone with a range of experience to join their team ASAP.
The Role:
- Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis who have a variety of needs, tailoring learning to suit them
- Working within a team and helping to build a comfortable environment for all children and staff, supporting challenging behaviour and SEN requirements
- Following care plans, EHCPs, Pupil Passports and other relevant documents
- Being comfortable with personal care is advantageous
- Using a holistic approach within a multi-disciplinary team of specialists
