Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant - Southwark - Secondary School - £95-£115 a day (depending on experience) - Full Time - Immediate Start

Previous experience supporting pupils with behavioural needs required. Experience working in a school, PRU or alternative provision desirable. Must be confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies. Required full time ASAP.

Are you able to build positive relationships with young people and promote positive behaviour? If yes, then this Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant role is for you!

The Role:

Seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-16 within a secondary school setting. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and the SEND department to provide targeted support for pupils who require additional behavioural intervention. The role involves supporting students in lessons, implementing behaviour strategies, promoting emotional regulation, using de-escalation techniques and helping pupils remain engaged with their learning.
