SEN Teaching Assistant – Acton – ASAP Start
Qualiteach is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school in Acton on a long‑term, full‑time basis with an ASAP start.
In this role you will support students with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and therapy teams to deliver tailored support, encourage independence, and help students access the curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group support to students with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to plan and implement personalised learning activities.
- Support students in developing independence and skills required to access the curriculum and school life.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of student progress and support plans.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an SEN setting.
- Enhanced DBS checks in place.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of students.
