Youth Mentor required in Lambeth for a secondary school. The ideal youth mentor will have previous experience supporting young adults that have challenging behaviour and mental health problems, however this does not need to be in a classroom environment.

As a youth mentor in a PRU, you will ideally have experience or training in physical intervention as aspects of the role can be very challenging. You must be a confident and resilient Youth Mentor that maintains a positive attitude at all times, in order to have a positive impact on your students.

This Pupil Referral Unit is found in the London borough of Lambeth and caters for students aged between 11-19 who have severe challenging behaviours and have been excluded from mainstream education. The aim of this PRU is to give every learner the opportunity to succeed in their education and learning, raising their aspirations and giving them opportunities to reengage into mainstream education.
