A Year 5 Teaching Assistant (Part Time) is required for a primary school in Lewisham, with a salary of £95-£115 per day (Pro Rata), starting in September.

The position involves working part-time from 8:30am to 1:00pm, supporting a small group of pupils with Special Educational Needs, primarily Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Experience supporting pupils with ASD is essential.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions, support pupils with their learning, and encourage their social and emotional development. You will need to be patient, proactive, and able to adapt your approach to meet each child's individual needs while helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
