The Position - Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
A welcoming and inclusive primary school is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their ASD provision as soon as possible. You will become an important part of the school's established ASD class team, supporting children aged 3-11 years old with a range of complex additional needs. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide consistent, nurturing and individualised support, helping pupils to develop their communication, independence, social skills and emotional regulation. The role will involve supporting pupils with high support needs autism, and candidates should be confident working with children who may require a high level of adult support throughout the school day. A Level 3 qualification in Early Years/EYFS or a relevant childcare/education qualification is essential for this position.
You will work closely with the class teacher, SEN team and wider support staff to ensure pupils receive consistent, appropriate and highly individualised support.
