Seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Sports Coach to support pupils with special educational needs through structured physical activity and sport. You will deliver and support engaging PE and movement sessions, promote physical wellbeing, teamwork and confidence, and help pupils regulate emotions through routine and activity. Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff, you will adapt activities to meet individual needs, encourage positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive and motivating learning environment.
This large specialist secondary and post-16 provision supports pupils aged 11-19 with autism and associated complex needs. The school offers a highly structured, supportive and inclusive environment, with a strong focus on consistency, communication and positive relationships. Physical activity and movement are used as key tools to support engagement, wellbeing and personal development, helping pupils build confidence, resilience and independence alongside their learning.
