Qualiteach Yorkshire are currently looking for an outstanding Specialist Support Worker to support one of our local SEN schools within Pontefract. The role will be working within a SEN school supporting students who have a range of needs including ASC, SEMH and other additional needs which can create a barrier to learning. The school itself is easily accessible via car and public transport and has a fantastic reputation. This is a temp to perm opportunity, starting in September. The school is open to applications from candidates with prior SEN experience who are seeking a part-time opportunity.

  • The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
  • To be able to commit to working at the school for a long period of time
  • Worked with young people with special needs
  • Experience with personal care desirable
