The Position:
- As a Restraint Trained Teaching Assistant, you will be working 1:1 with a Year 3 boy with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and associated behavioural challenges.
- The role requires providing consistent support throughout the school day, helping the pupil to regulate emotions, manage behaviour, and engage positively with learning.
- You will use de-escalation strategies, positive behaviour support, and, when necessary, your restraint training to ensure the safety of the pupil and others.
- You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and pastoral team to follow behaviour plans and implement tailored strategies.
- This is a full-time, long-term role with an ASAP start.
