Part-Time Learning Support Assistant required in Southwark to start ASAP.

Experience supporting pupils with ASD and delivering interventions is essential.

As a Part-Time Learning Support Assistant, you will provide morning support to a Year 5 pupil with ASD, working on a 1:1 basis to help her access the curriculum and stay engaged in learning. In addition to 1:1 support, you will also deliver targeted interventions in Year 4 and Year 5. This role is ideal for an LSA who is patient, proactive, and experienced in ASD support.

This community primary school is based in Southwark, with the nearest train station just a 4-minute walk away. The school is mixed-gender and currently has approximately 307 pupils, aged 2-11. The school is highly supportive and nurturing, with a strong focus on inclusion and pupil wellbeing. It provides SEN support for pupils with needs including ASD and Hearing Impairment (HI) and has been rated Good by Ofsted. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every child feels valued and supported in a safe, positive learning environment.
