The Role
A mixed, mainstream secondary academy in the London Borough of Brent, rated Good by Ofsted, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their Creative Arts department from September 2026. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience. The Music department is well resourced, with strong extracurricular opportunities and supportive leadership focused on developing students' musical skills and confidence.
The school is looking for a teacher with good classroom management, high expectations of students, and the ability to inspire a love of music in learners of all abilities. ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply, and the academy offers a supportive induction programme alongside ongoing CPD.
The successful candidate will be paid on the Outer London MPS/UPS, in line with experience, and will join a welcoming academy community that values creativity, professional growth, and staff wellbeing.
