EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant - The Role
As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children with a range of additional needs within a Reception or Nursery setting. This role involves providing 1:1 and small-group support, assisting with daily routines, and helping children to access learning through play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework.
You will be expected to support personal care, including toileting and hygiene, while promoting independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staff to ensure each child feels safe, supported and able to engage fully in the learning environment.
