The Role - Pastoral Support Tutor
A well-established mainstream secondary school in Harrow is looking to appoint a committed Pastoral Support Tutor to join its dedicated pastoral team from September on a long-term basis. As the successful Pastoral Support Tutor, you will provide day-to-day pastoral support for students across KS3 and KS4, helping them overcome personal, behavioural, and emotional challenges that may impact their education. You will work closely with teaching staff, Heads of Year, and parents to improve attendance, behaviour, and engagement, deliver mentoring sessions, monitor student progress, and contribute to creating a positive and supportive school culture.
The role requires someone who can build trusting relationships with students while maintaining high expectations and promoting positive outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people in a school, mentoring, pastoral, or youth work setting.
