Previous experience supporting behaviour and pastoral needs in a school setting required. Experience working with SEMH pupils or challenging behaviour desirable. Must be confident with behaviour management, de-escalation and pupil interventions. Required full time ASAP.

The Role – Pastoral Behaviour Assistant

Seeking a resilient and proactive Pastoral Behaviour Assistant to support pupils aged 11-16 within a specialist setting. You will work closely with pastoral leaders, teaching staff and safeguarding teams to support behaviour, attendance and pupil wellbeing across the school. The role involves delivering targeted interventions, supporting pupils during periods of dysregulation, implementing behaviour support plans and helping pupils successfully access learning. You will also liaise with families and staff to ensure a consistent approach to behaviour management and emotional support.
