A full-time opportunity has become available for a dedicated and compassionate Learning Practitioner (SEND) to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest. This long-term role is available for a September start and offers a competitive daily rate of £95 to £120, depending on experience.

The Role - Learning Practitioner (SEND)
As a Learning Practitioner (SEND), you will work closely with teachers, the SENDCo, and senior leaders to provide targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The role will involve supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, delivering SEND-specific interventions, assisting with lesson delivery and assessment, and helping pupils to access learning both inside and outside the classroom. You will also support pupils' emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and social development while promoting a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will have strong communication and literacy skills, patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. A Level 3 qualification and GCSEs in English and Maths are essential for this role.
