The Role - 1:1 Behaviour Teaching Assistant A primary school in Lewisham is looking for a confident and resilient Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with significant behavioural needs. As a 1:1 Behaviour Teaching Assistant will involve being a consistent and reassuring presence throughout the school day. You will support the pupil with accessing lessons, managing transitions and developing strategies to cope with situations that may trigger challenging behaviour.The pupil can become physically dysregulated, so the school is looking for somebody who is confident dealing with unpredictable situations and understands the importance of staying calm, patient and professional.
