Qualiteach Yorkshire are currently looking for an outstanding SENCO to support one of our local primary schools. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic SENCO to join our welcoming primary school in Leeds. The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusion and committed to ensuring that all pupils achieve their full potential. You will lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school, work closely with staff, parents and external agencies, and support high-quality teaching and learning for children with additional needs.

  • A strong understanding of SEND legislation, inclusive practice, and effective intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals.
  • A commitment to supporting the wellbeing, progress, and achievement of all pupils.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school, ensuring pupils’ needs are identified and supported effectively.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and review individual support plans.
  • Monitor the progress of pupils with SEND and provide guidance and training to staff to promote inclusive practice.
  • Ensure the school meets statutory SEND requirements and maintains accurate records and documentation.
