With an immediate start, a fantastic primary setting in LS11 is seeking to recruit an experienced Behaviour Mentor to work across their KS2 classes. Due to the nature of this role, applicants must have already gained some experience managing challenging behaviour with children/young people.
Duties of the role:
- Working across various classes within the school
- De-escalating challenging behaviour
- Being on call for behavioural disruption
- 1:1 and group work
- Planning activities
What you will need:
- A range of behaviour management techniques
- To have worked with learners with a range of needs
- The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
- Experience working within a primary school and/or working with young people
