Experience supporting children with SEMH and challenging behaviour is highly desirable. The position involves providing dedicated one-to-one support to a child with SEMH needs.

The successful candidate will need strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build a trusting and positive relationship with the child. You will support the child both inside and outside of the classroom, helping them engage with learning, participate in activities, manage transitions, and develop positive routines throughout the school day.

The ideal candidate will be creative, patient, and confident in using positive behaviour management strategies while remaining calm and consistent during challenging situations.

This welcoming primary school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for its pupils. You will be joining a dedicated staff team who work collaboratively to support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
