The Role:
Seeking a committed Behaviour Mentor to support pupils aged 6-18 with social, emotional and behavioural needs in a specialist school setting. The role involves working 1:1 and with small groups to help pupils regulate behaviour, re-engage with learning and develop positive coping strategies. You will support pupils during transitions, respond to incidents of dysregulation, deliver targeted interventions and model positive behaviour throughout the school day. Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff, you will help maintain a calm, consistent environment that supports pupils' wellbeing and progress.
The School:
This school is a specialist independent school in Redbridge, a close walk from an Elizabeth line stop. This school supports pupils aged 6-18 who have experienced difficulties sustaining mainstream education. The school is built on a strong ethos of respect, consistency and positive relationships, with a clear focus on helping pupils feel safe, understood and ready to learn. Through a personalised curriculum, small class sizes and strong pastoral support, they aim to re-engage pupils with education and support both their academic progress and personal development. In their most recent Ofsted report (May 2025), the school was rated Good overall with their aim to achieve Outstanding in their next report.
