Seeking a resilient and proactive SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 5-16 within a specialist setting. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism and social, emotional and mental health needs.

The role involves supporting pupils to access learning, implementing behaviour support strategies, promoting emotional regulation and encouraging independence within a structured and nurturing environment.

This specialist provision is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and is within walking distance of a nearby National Rail station. The school supports pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism and SEMH, and provides personalised learning, therapeutic support and strong pastoral care. The school is committed to helping every pupil achieve positive academic, social and emotional outcomes and was judged 'Good' at its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2023.

Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN and/or SEMH needs required. Experience working within a specialist setting desirable. Must be confident supporting behaviour, communication and learning. Required full time ASAP.
