The Role - PRU Primary Teacher

Seeking a resilient and engaging PRU Primary Teacher to support pupils aged 5‑11 within an alternative provision setting. You will teach small classes, deliver a differentiated and engaging curriculum and support pupils who may present with behavioural challenges and barriers to learning. The role involves implementing behaviour strategies, supporting emotional regulation and creating a structured, positive and supportive environment where pupils can re‑engage with education and make progress.

This pupil referral unit is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and is within walking distance of a nearby National Rail station. The provision supports pupils who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education, offering personalised learning, strong behaviour support and clear reintegration pathways. The school was judged 'Good' at its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2023.
