About the role - Geography Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Geography Teacher to join a secondary academy and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages. You will inspire students to develop an understanding of the world around them, encouraging curiosity about physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global development. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to motivate learners of all abilities. This good, mixed mainstream secondary school based in Havering caters to students aged 11 to 16 with a total of 941 students on site. The school itself opened up back in 2016 with a strong emphasis on parental support where parents, students and staff work collaboratively to aid progression. With their last Ofsted inspection graded Good back in May 2019, they were able to create an enjoyable, warm, friendly environment for students/staff to work and develop in.
